VERGHESE, Mundaparampil Thomas (MT Verghese / Johnny) passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on May 3, 2014 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Mr and Mrs M V Thomas of Mundaparampil House, Pullad and was known to his family and friends as Johnny.

He worked as a Civil Engineer with the Bombay Port Trust and lived in Wadala during the time. He was an active member of the Dadar Mar Thoma Church (Bombay). He is survived by his wife Annamma (of Thondanvelil House, Thumpamon), sisters Mrs. Mary Kurien (Bangalore) and Mrs. Thankamma Samuel (Vrindavanam, Kerala),sister-in-law Mrs Rajamma Thomas (Kumbanad, Kerala).

He is mourned by his wife Annamma, sons Thomas & Cherian Verghese, daughters-in-law Anna & Annie, grandchildren Eliana, Andrea, Danielle and grandson-in-law Tyler Hempel.

The viewing will be held between 6 and 9 pm on Friday May 9, 2014 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18102.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 10 2014 at 11 30 am at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown, PA 18102.
