Prime accused in the solar scam case Biju Radhakrishan was asked by the Pathanamthitta Judicial First Class Magistrate on Saturday to hand over his secret statement in writing.

This was after Biju expressed his desire to record his secret statement. The magistrate refused this and asked him to give the statement in writing.

However, Biju handed over a written statement expressing his desire to record his statement. Following this, he was told by the the magistrate again to prepare the statement in writing.

Biju will be preparing his statement alone and the the magistrate will decide on his police custody after receiving his written statement.
