Kochi: High Court has stayed the implementation of new procedures of driving license test for light motor vehicles until May 15.The high court issued the stay order on a complaint filed by driving schools seeking more time to train students to pass the new test pattern. As per the new method, an applicant should pass gradient and reverse parking tests apart from the traditional H-test to be eligible for a driving license. Based on the court order, the transport commissioner on Monday issued an order to motor vehicle department officials, asking them to continue with the older method of test from Tuesday onwards.
