ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി: ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഡപ്യൂട്ടി കോണ്‍സല്‍ ജനറല്‍ ദേവയാനി ഖോബ്രഗഡെയെ(39) യുഎസ് അധികൃതര്‍ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത് വിവാദമാകുന്നു.ദേവയാനിയെ നഗ്നയാക്കി പരിശോധിച്ചെന്നും മയക്കുമരുന്ന് കള്ളക്കടത്ത് കേസിലെ പ്രതികള്‍ക്കൊപ്പ്പം താമസിപ്പിച്ചതെന്നും ആരോപണം.യുഎസ് അംബാസഡര്‍ നാന്‍സി പവലിനെ സൌത്ത് ബ്ലോക്കിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി വിദേശകാര്യ സെക്രട്ടറി സുജാത സിങ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ കടുത്ത പ്രതിഷേധവും അസംതൃപ്തിയും അറിയിച്ചു.രണ്ടു കുട്ടികളുടെ മാതാവായ ദേവയാനി രാവിലെ ഒന്‍പതിന് മകളെ സ്കൂളില്‍ വിടുമ്പോഴായിരുന്നു അറസ്റ്റ്.സംഭവത്തില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ കടുത്ത നടപടികളിലേക്ക് നീങ്ങി.ഇന്ത്യയിലെ യുഎസ് എംബസികള്‍ക്ക് എയര്‍പോര്‍ട്ട് പാസുകള്‍ റദ്ദാക്കി.യുഎസ് എംബസിയുടെ സുരക്ഷാ ബാരിക്കേഡുകള്‍ നീക്കാന്‍ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു.തിരിച്ചറിയല്‍ കാര്‍ഡ് തിരികെ ഏല്‍പ്പിക്കാനും യുഎസ് നയതന്ത്ര പ്രതിനിധികളോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
