At least 50 Palestinians were killed today, including 20 at a UN school, in relentless Israeli bombardment in Gaza, a day after one of the bloodiest days in the fighting between Israel and Hamas, taking the death toll to 1,283.

Israeli military shelled the UN school based in Gaza's Jebaliya refugee camp early today. At least 20 people killed in the attack, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
