In protest to the historical decision to form Telangana as the 29th state of the nation, the anti-Telangana ministers in Andhra submitted their resignation to the Chief Minister. According to reporters six ministers quit demanding a united Andhra Pradesh.
The Union ministers from non-telengana region had met Digvijaya Singh, in charge of Congress party in Andhra Pradesh, to avoid the splitting of the state.The crucial decision to form Telangana state were taken by the Congress Working Committee on Tuesday amidst the pressure from both pro and anti-Telangana leaders.
