KPCC President Ramesh Chennithala said on Tuesday that the decision to include Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the judicial probe for solar scam should be taken by the Chief Minister himself.
He also said that the Chief Minister's office should also be included in the judicial probe and that coalition parties are not united in taking a decision regarding the matter if the chief minister should be involved in the probe or not.
The decision on terms of reference will only be considered after a sitting judge is made possible for the judicial probe. It has also been decided that terms of reference will not be discussed in the cabinet meeting which is scheduled for Wednesday.
UDF Convenor PP Thankachan said that the 14 cases of related money laundering under the regime of LDF will be included in the judicial probe.
Meanwhile I group in the Congress protested against Oommen Chandy and alleged that enough meetings were not held regarding the solar case judicial probe. They also claimed that the chief minister is protected within the party.
