Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala on Sunday said that the Congress will take a decision regarding then next KPCC chief post January 9th. KPCC Chief Chennithala said that he will meet the high command on Thursday along with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.

Currently, Ramesh Chennithala is heading the party. Sources suggested that the present Kerala speaker G Karthikeyan is likely to be elected to the post.
