Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Friday said that the LDF is aiming at civil war in the state.

Leaving the Cantonment gates open at any cost is an an age-old custom. It was a decision taken during the tenure of former Chief Minister Late C. Achutha Menon. Demonstration can be taken out in front of all the three gates but no one will be allowed to stop those coming to the Secretariat, said Thiruvanchoor.

"Won't there be criminals and offenders among the one-lakh strong demonstrators arriving for the planned strike led by the LDF?” Thiruvanhoor asked.

Even Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had called Central forces to maintain law and order situation in 2009, Thiruvanchoor pointed out during a press conference here.
