Pinarayi Vijayan, CPM State secretary, stated on Sunday that Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has no other option but to quit in the wake of the solar scam.

Pinarayi was speaking to media persons here ahead of the indefinite Secretariat siege called by the LDF starting Monday.

“Chandy has lost the support of his party members and UDF allies and they have renounced him,” Pinarayi said.

Meanwhile, Thomas Issac MLA said that the LDF will not resort to violence during the protest.
