The District Principal Sessions Court on Monday postponed the judgment in the murder case of Reshmi, the first wife of solar scam accused Biju Radhakrishnan, to Thursday.

The High Court, which accepted a bail plea filed by Biju, had instructed the Sessions Court to pronounce the verdict on the case in a five months time.

Biju is the main accused and his mother Rajammal is a co-accused in the case. Reshmi was found dead on February 3, 2006 in the bathroom.

Biju's 11-year-old son and solar scam co-accused Saritha S Nair testified against him in front of judge Ashok Menon.

In 2006, Biju confessed to killing Reshmi and requested the court to spare his mother as "she is innocent".

He allegedly murdered Reshmi by giving poison-laced liquor to her.
