Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said that the govt has received legal advise for a CBI probe into the conspiracy angle into the TP murder case.

He told media here Sunday that the government will decide only after reviewing the advice given by the Director General of Prosecutions.

The home minister had earlier said a final decision would be taken only after getting the legal advise. It is learnt that the prosecution director general has given the go ahead and has stated there would be no hurdle in going for a CBI probe.

Meanwhile, wife of TP Chandrashekaran, K K Rema will be leaving for Thiruvananthapuram to undertake an indefinite fast along with party cadres. Rema told mediapersons that she expects V S Achuthanandhan to take part in the fast.
