NEW DELHI: Rajan Vichare who 'force-fed' a chapatti in the mouth of a fasting Muslim employee in New Maharashtra Sadan, has expressed regret over his action. The Shiv Sena MP claimed that he did not know that the employee was a Muslim, but as anger mounted he expressed regret. "I came to know that the employee was a Muslim only after seeing TV footage and I regret it," Vichare said. He also claimed that he was only trying to draw the attention of authorities to poor quality of food served at the Sadan.
