Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will not be made a witness by the probe team in the case filed by Sreedharan Nair relating to the solar scam.

The investigation team had submitted the chargesheet, including 97 documents on Friday. The CCTV footage of the Chief Minister's Office and CDs have also been produced.

The documents contain e-mails of prime accused Biju Radhakrishnan and Saritha Nair, their mobile phone call lists, bank and cheque details. The call details of Tenny Joppen, former personal staff of Chandy, is also part of the documents .

Thirty-nine witnesses are listed in the 239-page chargesheet.

The case pertains to Nair being duped of Rs 40 lakh by Saritha promising him to set up a solar plant in Kinfra Park, Palakkad.

Nair's statement that he handed over the last installment of money after visiting Chandy along with Saritha had become a big controversy.
